現在の活動

イマーシブ技術を活用した音響作品やライブエレクトロニクス作品、Audiovisualなど様々なタイプの電子音響音楽を制作し作品は国内外で演奏されている。また近年は、先端音楽表現研究所の運営および国際的なコンピュータ音楽系イベントのプロデュースや教育活動を展開しており、「台湾ソニック・アーツ・フェスティバル2015」「アジアコンピュータ音楽プロジェクト2018」「ICMA Music Showcase: ASIA 2022」、「47Trees-47の木の物語」、東アジア地域における大学間交流コンサートの企画運営、そしてマスタークラス、ゲストレクチャー、国際コンクールの審査員等も行なっている。

Current Activities
He composes a wide range of electroacoustic music, including fixed media works utilizing immersive technologies, live electronics, and audiovisual pieces, which have been presented both in Japan and internationally. In recent years, he has also been actively engaged in the management of the Laboratory of Advanced Music Production as a director, as well as in the production of international computer music–related events and educational initiatives. His activities include producing and organizing events such as the Taiwan Sonic Arts Festival 2015, Asia Computer Music Project 2018, ICMA Music Showcase: ASIA 2022, 47Trees, and inter-college exchange concerts across East Asia. He also serves as a jury for international competitions and is involved in masterclasses and guest lectures worldwide.

洗足学園音楽大学シンセサイザー専攻卒業。ニューヨーク大学大学院ミュージックテクノロジーコース修士課程修了。 作曲をロバート・ロウ、ジョエル・チャダベ、サウンドプログラミングをリチャード・ブーランジェ、ニック・ディドコフスキーの各氏に師事。作品は「Musica Viva 2007」（ポルトガル）、「ICMC国際コンピュータ音楽会議 2008」（北アイルランド）、同2011（スロベニア）、同2018（韓国）、同2019（ニューヨーク）、同2020（チリ）、「ニューヨーク電子音響音楽フェスティバル2009」（アメリカ）、「101 Tokyo」（アイスランド）、「アジアコンピュータ音楽プロジェクト 2010」（韓国）、同2011、同2016、同2019（東京）、同2018（タイ）、「北京国際電子音響音楽祭2017」、「中央音楽学院全景声VR/AR インタラクティブマルチメディアアート実験室」（中国）など国際的な音楽祭や研究系イベントで演奏されている。

洗足学園音楽大学、東京藝術大学、東京電機大学、玉川大学、桜美林大学での非常勤講師を経て、2016年より洗足学園音楽大学専任講師、2021年より同大学 音楽・音響デザインコース教授。2025年より同大学先端音楽表現研究所所長。また2016年から2021年まで国際コンピュータ音楽協会（ICMA）のアジア・オセアニア地区のディレクター（理事）を務めた。

Biography
He graduated from Senzoku Gakuen College of Music and completed a Master’s degree in Music Technology at New York University. He studied composition with Robert Rowe and Joel Chadabe, and sound programming with Richard Boulanger and Nick Didkovsky. His works have been presented at numerous international music festivals and research-oriented events, including Musica Viva 2007 (Portugal); the International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) 2008 (Northern Ireland), 2011 (Slovenia), 2018 (South Korea), 2019 (New York), and 2020 (Chile); the New York Electroacoustic Music Festival 2009 (USA); 101 Tokyo (Iceland); the Asia Computer Music Project 2010 (South Korea), 2011, 2016, and 2019 (Tokyo), and 2018 (Thailand); the Beijing International Electroacoustic Music Festival 2017; and events at the VR/AR Immersive Sound Interactive Multimedia Art Laboratory of the Central Conservatory of Music (China), among others.

After serving as a lecturer at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, Tokyo Denki University, Tamagawa University, and J. F. Oberlin University, he was appointed as a full-time lecturer at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music in 2016, and became Professor in the Music and Sound Design Course in 2021. Since 2025, he has served as Director of the Laboratory of Advanced Music Production at the same institution. From 2016 to 2021, he also served as Regional Director (Board Member) for Asia and Oceania of the International Computer Music Association (ICMA).
