Musical Creativity and the Environment Course

Training of stage staff

Since students will select two main fields of study, the two fields can be combined as “Sound & Production”, “Lighting & Production”, or “Sound & Lighting”.
Students can also change fields of study from year to year, making it possible to study all fields of study throughout the four years of the program.
In addition, in the main field of study 2, students can take practical skills (lessons) of other courses in addition to acoustic, lighting, production, and delivery.
For example, combinations such as “Sound&Recording(Music Design Course)” or “Production & Wind Instruments” are possible.

  • Small group lessons and “hands-on” practice

In Main Field of Study 1 and 2, small group lessons will be conducted, and students will participate in the on-campus performance as acoustic, lighting, production, and delivery staff under the supervision of the teacher in charge of these classes.

  • PRACTICE IN PERFORMANCE planned by the course

The students will plan an original project for the Musical Creativity and the Environment Course and organize and perform the actual performance.
Students will experience the real thrill of leading a successful performance while taking full advantage of what you have learned in each field.

  • Interaction with other courses

“The Musical Creativity and the Environment Course is involved with 17 other courses.
The environment in which students are exposed to various genres of music and learn the idioms of that music is a unique advantage of this College that cannot be experienced anywhere else”
