Maeda Hall was the first full-fledged concert hall built in Japan in the traditional 19th-century European “shoebox-shape.” The design of this concert hall was modeled after the Großer Musikvereinssaal in Vienna, which is said to have the finest acoustics in the world. This type of concert hall enables luscious, rich sounds to reverberate throughout the hall and reach every member of the audience. The entire hall is immersed in stereophonic sound.
