The Music Education Major nurtures students to enable them to become not only music teachers at schools, but also professionals who are capable of teaching music in a local community as a part of its lifelong education programs. Senzoku Gakuen was the first music college in Japan to establish a Jazz Major. Since then, Senzoku Gakuen has been offering a curriculum, which includes one-on-one lessons and clinics, to enable students to refine their playing skills and broaden their knowledge of jazz. Students can also study at Berklee College of Music in the United States, which is affiliated with Senzoku Gakuen.

Japanese Traditional Music looks into various styles of music works, ranging from classical to modern pieces, and aims to develop innovative players of Japanese traditional music who are able to proficiently handle classical music notation as well as staff notation.
